About Mattmo LLC

We’ve moved! Mattmo is now located in Troy, New York where we are creating a bigger, better workshop to serve our growing customer base.

Matt Moore, Carbon Repair Specialist

Matt began repairing carbon fiber in 2014 when the chainstay on his Trek Superfly 100 Elite broke clear through while riding Pinnacle in Newport, New Hampshire. While looking for a company that would repair his bike in a timely manner (and without costing an arm and a leg), Matt decided to repair it on his own, and with great success. Within a few weeks, he was back on his Trek racing the Barn Burner in Walpole, Massachusetts.

After that, Matt’s fellow cyclists began to seek him out at the races, asking if he would repair their carbon frames. From there, Mattmo was born, and Matt’s business has grown every year since. In 2018, Matt brought Mattmo’s finishing capabilities to a whole new level by adding a professional paint booth and custom paint matching, allowing him to restore the repaired frames to look like new.

Matt Moore is passionate about cycling and has been involved in the sport for over 40 years, racing the disciplines of road, mountain, and cyclocross. He has participated in four national championships and finished top 10 in the 2018 Cyclocross Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky.
